Weekend stuff

Only one sequence to post for now. I shot a three rolls of film this weekend. I'llvbe getting those developed tomorrow and put them up.

I went skating today with Mike and Britt today once the rain stopped. I shot Mike's hill bomb photo and his portrait but before we called it a day we skated this spot.

Rainy days are the worst

Why does it only seem to rain on the weekends? With nothing to do but sit inside on my laptop I decided to look through all my old unedited photos on my hard drive. I was looking through the photos I shot during last summer when I was staying out in California. I was super bored so I decided to edit some of the photos that I never bothered to upload.

Funny how last summer I was living in beautiful southern California just skating and going to the beach everyday...and this summer I'll be taking a full schedule of summer school. I hate you college.

I'm so bummed chris never pulled this. Went back four times for at least 3 hours every time. I'm glad my camera still works after trying to shoot a sequence of this for so long haha. Hopefully he goes back one day and lands it. Switch Big Flip is crazzzzy

This photo project is going be harder then I thought...

After taking a semester off from photo I decided to sign up for the advanced class. It seemed pretty cool and I was missing the dark room. I basically get a whole semester to work on one final project. For my final I decided to do a series of skate shots with a corresponding lifestyle photo of the skater. I was pretty hyped on the idea and was really stoked to go shoot. Well, after getting my first roll back I realized this is going be harder than I thought. I need 20 perfect prints (10 skate shots and 10 lifestyles) by the first week in May. I was hoping to have britt and eric's skate shots out of the way after this weekend but I'm not all hyped on these shots. Ughhh this is going to stressful

Eric Broke Off

When Eric was skating this gap last weekend he got broke off pretty hard. This time however, it wasn't while hucking himself down something. The gap requires a lot of speed so he was getting pulled by Tyler's car. He would get pulled, ollie up a curb, and then push two more times before he got to the gap. One on attempt he ollied up the curb and when he went to push he got a little off balance and slide across the ground on his chest. It looked pretty painful. In the end, he got his trick and a cool scar on his chest. It looks like he got scratched by a Tiger haha

A lot of driving today, and very little skating. I also left my board at the last spot we went to in downtown Phoenix. I was pretty bummed and decided to go back alone and get it at 12:30am. Kinda sketchy but I got it!

Lazy Sunday

We went to this rail today that is pretty sick but caleb wouldn't skate it. We ended up just hanging out by this lake for a bit. Very unproductive but it was pretty fun I guess.

But I shot some steezy photos of britt and caleb. Sean also jumped over this river for some reason.

I'm surprised we made it to a spot today. After sitting around for a good portion of the day Eric, Nick, Tyler, and myself drove out to this gap in Gilbert. Eric got a heelflip on it which was super good. To bad this place sucks for photos.

I found a roll of film under my dresser the other day

I had no idea what was on it so I went and got it developed. I was surprised when I got the slides back. This is really old.
